ADVERTISEMENT

 

 

        Application are invited from the citizens of India for filling up 6(six) posts of Assistant Engineer(Electrical) under the department of Power in the pay scale of Rs.8000-275-13500/- PM plus other allowances as admissible to the employees of A.P. Govt. from time to time. Out of the 6(six) posts, 5(five) post are reserved for APST candidates. Vacancy position is subject to variation.

 

1.    ELIGIBILITY

a)    Candidate must be a degree holder in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University.

 

       The final year students of the Engineering degree course who are to appear for such examination shall also be eligible for admission to competitive examination to be held by the AP PSC. Their Candidature will however be finally accepted on production of proof of having passed the qualifying examination before the date of interview to be fixed by the AP PSC failing which they will not be allowed to appear in the interview/Viva-Voce test.

 

b)    Candidates must not be more than 30 years of age as on 28-09-2005. However the upper age limit is lexable by 5(five) years for APST candidates and for the AP Govt. servants.

 

2.     METHODS OF SELECTION

 

      The eligible Candidates will have to appear in the written examination in the following subjects followed by personal test to be conducted by the Commission.

 

SECTION-I (OBJECTIVE TYPE)

I)    General Ability Test                        :    200 marks

      (Part-A General English)

      (Part-B General Studies)

II)   Electrical Engineering                     :    300 marks

 

SECTION-II (CONVENTIONAL PAPERS)

I)    Electrical Engineering Part-I             :    200 marks

II)   Electrical Engineering Paper-II          :    200 marks

 

PERSONAL TEST                                  :    100 marks

 

 

The syllabus for the written examination can be obtained from the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission, Itanagar upto 28-09-2005 upti 1530 hours.

 

3.     HOW TO APPLY

 

       Application on plain paper should be addressed to the Secretary, APPSC, Itanagar in the following format along with (i) 2(two) recent copies of self attested pass port size photographs: (ii) attested copies of all relevant documents including Class X pass certificate issued from Board/University/marksheet, APST Certificate in case of APST candidates. (iii) Treasury Challan of Rs. 15/- (Rupees fifteen) for APST candidates and Rs.60/-(Rupees Sixty) for General Candidates as examination fee should be deposited under the Head of Accounts No. "0051-PSC" in favour of Secretary Arunachal Pradesh Public Serviuce Commission, Itanagar.

 

Candidates already in service may apply through proper channel with an advance copy to the Commission.

 

4.     FORMAT OF APPLICATION

 

(a)   Name of the post; (b) Name in full (in block letters); (c) Father's/Husbands name (d) Present Address for communication with contact No.; (e) Nationality; (f) Permanent Address; (g) Date of Birth (as recorded in the matriculation certificate); (g) Educational Qualification; (h) Experience if any; (i) Caste/Tribe; (j) Treasury Challan No. date & value; (k) List of documents attached.

 

5.     DECLARATION (to be stated in the end of the application)

 

       I hereby declare that the statement made in the application are True, complete and correct to the best of my knowledge and belief. In the event of any information being found false or incorrect, the Commission may initiate action against me at any stage of the recruitment process as per rule.

        1530 hours.

 

7.     OTHER IMPORTANT RULES.

 

1.    The decision of the Commission as to be eligibility or otherwise of a Candidate for admission to
       the Interview for selection will be final no Correspondence/Personal enquiries will be
       entertained.

 

2.    The decision in the prescribed format along with the self-addressed post card should be
       submitted in a cover/envelope super scribed " APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ASSISTANT
       ENGINEERING (ELECT)".

 

3.    Application received after the closing date or incomplete in any nature will be summarily
       rejected.

 

4.    Date of birth as recorded in the Matriculation or equivalent certificate or Admit card as issued
       by the Board will only be accepted.

 

5.    The Commission will not be responsible for delay in the receipt of the application, due to any
       reason whatsoever.

 

6.    Application format other than the one prescribed above will be summarily rejected.

 

7.    Canvassing in any manner will be disqualification.
