ADVERTISEMENT
Applications in prescribed form are invited from the citizens of India (as defined under Article 5to 7 of the Constitution of India) along with 3(three) copies of recent passport size photographs duly self attested on the front side, for admission to Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Combined Examination (APPSCCE), (pRELIMINARY) 2006-2007 for recruitment to the following categories of Group-'A' and 'B' Posts/services of Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh.
(A) Arunachal Pradesh Civil Service (Entry Grade) - Group A - 15 posts
(B) Deputy Superintendent of Police (APP) - Group A - 03 posts
(C) Finance & Accounts Officer/Treasury Officer - Group A - 04 posts
(D) Assistant Registrar of Cooperative Society - Group B - 01 posts
(E) Sub-Treasury Officer - Group B - 05 posts
(F) Child Development Project Officer - Group B - 06 posts
(G) Assistant Director (Industries) - Group B - 04posts
(H) Assistant Employment Officer - Group B - 02 posts
(I) Station Superintendent - Group B - 02 posts
The number & categories of posts indicated above are subject to variation.
(A) HOW TO APPLY :
AVAILABLE OF APPLICATION FORM & SYLLABUS
Application Forms for admission to the APPSCCE (Prelim) examination 2006-2007 with syllabus can be obtained from the Commission's Office Itanagar, on all working days from 10AM to 3.30 PM upto 12.09.06 on payment of Rs.100/- for APST and Rs. 200/- for-APST in the form of Bank Draft /Banker Cheque payable at SBI Itanagar in favour of Secretary, Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission, Itanagar. Candiadates desireing to obtain Application Form & Syllabus by post are required to send Bank Draft as stipulated and a self address envelop with a postage stamp valued Rs.50/-(fifty) in addition for dispatching.
(B) ELIGIBILITY
(a) Age Limit : A Candidate must have attained 21 years of age and not more than 28 years of age as on 12.09.06. However, upper age limit is relaxable in case of APST, ex-servicemen and Govt. Servent as per rule 4 (2) a,b,c,d of schedule-II of APPSCCE Rules 2001.
(b) Educational qualification : Bachelor Degree in any decipline from a recognized Indian University or an equivalent qualification. Final year students are also eligible to be admitted in to the APPSCCE (Prelim) 2006-2007. However, such candidates must produce his/her proof of having graduated at the time of submitting his/her application for the Main examination failing which, such candidates will not be admitted to the Main examination.
IMPORTANT : The Candidates are to ensure their eligibility for the post of Deputy Supdt. of Police in regard to physical and medical standard while submitting the application.
(C) Physical Standard : Candidates must be physically fit to tour/travel in remote places of Arunachal Pradesh on foot. Candidates opting for Deputy Superintendent of Police (APPS) post must posses the following Physical and Medical standard.

MEDICAL STANDARD :-
He/she must undergo medical examination as per medical standard indicated below :-

(b) The Candidates must not have knock knees, flat feet or squint eye. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of his duties.
(D) EXAMINATION FEE : An Examination fee of Rs. 80/- (eighty) for General candidates and Rs. 20/- (Twenty) for APST candidates should be deposited in the form of Treasury Challan under the Head of Account 0051-PSC in favour of Secretary, Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Comission, Itanagar and submitted along with the application. this fee is non-refundable.
(E) EXAMINATION CENTERS :

The Candidates already in Service will be allowed to appear the Preliminary Examination at their respective Examination Centre of the district where they are serving.
(F) OPTICAL SUBJECT
Candidates are required to offer Optical subject from the subject prescribed for preliminary examination in the syllabus.
(f) LAST DATE OF RECEIPT OF APPLICATION.
The duly filled up application forms must reach to the Secretary, Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission, Itanagar - 791111 (Arunachal Pradesh) positively on or before 12.09.06. Application received after the prescribed last date will be entertained under any circumstances whatsoever.
No Duplicate, Xeroxed, Typed out Form will be entertained.
(H) RESERVATION :
The Govt. of A.P. Reservation policy of 80:20 ratio will be enforced.
